Hit the Trails

Seattle provides the perfect juxtaposition of bustling metropolis and unmatched natural beauty landscape. When the sun is out, there is no better place to be than exploring all that the Puget Sound has to offer.

Home to some of the nation’s best parks, Seattle has a variety of hiking, walking, and biking trails, even tucked away within the city. Two of the best known hiking trails are found in Discovery Park and Seward Park. Discovery Park, spanning 534 acres within Magnolia, features more than 11 miles of trails. Along the west edge of Lake Washington, Seward Park is comprised of more than 300 acres of forest land. In addition, the Washington Trails Association features endless options for leisure walks to advanced hikes throughout the state.
